Smart Card
The Smart Card is the identification card that matches all ATB passes (weekly, monthly and annual). It is obtainable by filling in a form with your personal data, costs 10 euros and is valid for 5 years.
Where to request it
The Smart Card can be requested online, at the ATB Point and at Bergamo Station ticket office.
Which documents do I have to submit
To apply for the Smart Card you must present:
- the fully completed and signed form (in the case of minors, a parent's signature is required)
- a recent colour passport photo for scanning
- an identity document of the applicant (in the case of minors, that of a parent)
- the subscriber's tax code or health card
The Smart Card costs 10 € and is for 5 years valid.
Forms are available directly at the ATB Point and Bergamo Station ticket office or can be downloaded from the types of passes page.
How to renew it
Also the Smart Card renewal can be carried out online, at the ATB Point and at Bergamo Station ticket office maintaining the same card number.
Renewal requires the presentation of the same documents as for the first application.
What should I do if my Smart Card is broken or lost
If the pass has expired, a new Smart Card must be requested at the ATB Point or at Bergamo Station ticket office by presenting the same documents as for the first application.
If the pass is still valid, a duplicate must be requested by filling in the appropriate form and presenting it to the ATB Point (if a charge has been pressed to the Authority, a copy must be attached).
The customer will only have to pay for the Smart Card (10 euros).
